VINTAGE MARBLE BOX MADE FROM WALLS OF THE LONDON CORN EXCHANGE 1972 A vintage marble box which was made from the walls of the London Corn Exchange from the reclaimed marble in 1972. The corn exchange was demolished in 1970. There are limited numbers of these boxes around as I understand they were only given to members of the stock exchange. There is a plaque on the inside of the lid (see photo). Condition:- good overall condition, after inspecting the box carefully, I noticed a small piece of marble on the corner of the lid has broken off and been glued back into place.
